Natural garlic Shampoo, Unscented ($3.75for 21 ounces) contains deodorized garlic, so no worries about your hair smelling offensive. The question is, why use garlic at all, since it has no established benefit for hair and scalp? It cannot stop excessive hair breakage, as claimed on the label. This is a very standard shampoo that is an option for all hair types and will not cause buildup.

Garlic is also an effective herb for conditions other than asthma. It is known to decrease cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood and lower blood pressure. It is used to treat cardiovascular disease, colds and viral infections, hay fever, digestive disorders, and fungal infections such as thrush. In the past it has been recommended against intestinal parasites.
Garlic is best taken in its natural form, chopped or crushed to be more readily digestible. For an infusion, simply place 4-6 cloves in a cup of cool water and leave for six hours before drinking. |

They include things like eating more broccoli and garlic, getting more natural sunlight on your skin (to generate the anti-cancer nutrient Vitamin D, which has recently been shown to prevent an astonishing 77 percent of ALL cancers!) and avoiding cancer-causing chemicals in manufactured foods (such as sodium nitrite, found in bacon, sausage and virtually all packaged meats). A more detailed list is offered below.

To do this, she would grow bacteria in a test tube, expose the bacteria to different concentrations of garlic, and see whether the bacteria survived. This would be called an in vitro experiment. In vitro literally means "in glass."
Next, she could see whether garlic successfully treated mice that were infected with bacteria. She would infect mice with doses of bacteria that she knew would make them sick. After they got sick, she would give half the mice garlic and watch to see if the mice given garlic got better faster. This is called an in vivo experiment. In vivo literally means "in life. |

As the authors of the first study point out, the strength of such an approach is that "it more closely parallels the real world" in that "it can take into account complicated interactions among nutrients and non-nutrient substances in studies of free-living people." The weakness of such an approach is that "it cannot be specific about the particular nutrients responsible" for whatever health effects have been observed. Of course, this is a weakness only from the perspective of nutritionism. |

I remember the afternoon snacks consisting of soma d'aj, a slice of bread spread with a clove of garlic and a little salt and oil, and toasted on the stove: too rich for a child at four o'clock in the afternoon. Nowadays, no one would ever dream of preparing such a snack, but that was my first experience of garlic, a food it is always difficult to persuade children to eat. Then there was Sunday lunch, which consisted of meat-filled ravioli (le raviole, in Piedmontese), the meat being in fact the week's leftovers. |

Coat your children with sunscreen. The sun is dangerous and has no health benefits whatsoever, didn't you know? And besides, all those chemicals in sunscreen are perfectly safe. Result: Children are now living with severe vitamin D deficiencies (even rickets!) that greatly increase rates of breast cancer, prostate cancer, osteoporosis, depression, obesity and diabetes. |

The wild greens? The garlic? The nuts? The French paradox too has been variously attributed to the salutary effects of red wine, olive oil, and even foie gras (liver is high in B vitamins and iron). Yet when researchers extract a single food from a diet of proven value, it usually fails to adequately explain why the people living on that diet live longer or have lower rates of heart disease or cancer than people eating a modern Western diet. The whole of a dietary pattern is evidently greater than the sum of its parts. |

Broccoli, garlic, onions and sprouts all have powerful anti-cancer effects, as do dozens of rainforest herbs (Cat's Claw, for example), Chinese herbs and Western herbs. But the FDA threatens and censors any company that dares to mention cancer prevention on its supplement products. Why is the FDA enforcing a policy of nutritional ignorance with U.S. consumers? Why does the federal government want people to remain ignorant of methods for preventing or treating cancer?
You probably already know the answer to all these questions, because the answer is the same for each one: Corporate profits. |

Broccoli is one of the most powerful anti-cancer foods out there, and garlic even tops broccoli. If you eat garlic and broccoli both in their raw state, you are consuming one of the most powerful anti-cancer combinations known to mankind and nature. Those don't damage healthy cells, but they do in fact target cancer cells. In other words, these simple, everyday foods at the grocery store have a technology more sophisticated and more effective than the most highly hyped anticancer prescription drug ever invented by the pharmaceutical industry. |

Then you have onion, ginger and garlic. garlic is phenomenal as an anti-cancer food. It contains sulphur compounds that just obliterate cancer cells. You've got spirulina, which contains anticancer phytochemicals called phycocyanin, which provide a blue-green color. When injected into breast tumors in laboratory studies in Japan, it's been shown to cause breast tumors to self-destruct. You've got chlorella and oxygen treatments. There is a product out there called Cell Food; when you take it into your body, it creates nascent oxygen and hydrogen. |

Newman: Yes, 80 percent. We have done clinical studies to show this process. Then you're going to have another 15 percent that are going to need more support. |

They go, "Oh, if it kills everything off, what's going to happen to all the good bacteria, and everything like that?" Well, people have been eating garlic for thousands of years and it's still one of the great folk medicines on the planet for a reason. It has a history behind it. It's not nearly as intense as, say, John Barron's super garlic tincture from Baseline Nutritionals, but that's okay since not everybody can handle that level of herbal intensity. Fitura's Power Immune is certainly far more potent than a lot of the herbal products found in retail, many of which are watery and seem to contain very little actual herbage.
The ingredients in Power Immune are:
Echinacea Purpurea
Licorice
Cat's Claw
Green Tea
Shitake Mushroom

| If you take Power Immune on a regular basis, you'll also notice an improvement in triglycerides and cholesterol levels (thanks to the garlic and ginger ingredients), meaning you might also be able to transition off your statin drugs.
